A Short Covid-19 History of New Zealand


The handling of Covid-19 in New Zealand is not quite as you might have read in the global mainstream media.

NZ now faces the longest lockdown of its largest city since the outbreak began – it’s home to one third of the population and much of the economy.

Rather than the glowing headlines of a fawning Local and International media about our Prime-minister (PM) Jacinda Ardern, the story of Covid-19 in New Zealand is more like this……

Our native people – Maori – have traditionally been slow to engage with such vaccination programs and needed to have been targeted much earlier in our vaccination program.
