The War You Don’t See

An incredible “behind the scenes” look at how Media Propaganda shapes our World

“The War You Don’t See” a documentary by John Pilger

Watch this stunning documentary by Australian/UK film maker, former war correspondant, former mainstream media journalist and all round good guy, John Pilger.

When you hear the comments made by senior news gathering figures at the BBC and ITV, you realise why many people think journalism, as we knew it, is long dead. Journalists are now simply stenographers, simply trumpetting out even the most suspect and absurd governmental statements, without question, without context, without thought.

The brilliant film is not so much about military wars, but about the propaganda wars that begin even before the first shots are fired in the shooting wars. “To Hell With Spain, Remember the Maine” is a perfect example.

This film was made in 2010 after the debacle of the invasion of Iraq. Media standards have only declined since then.
